A Rum Fellow

After working in the interiors world for many years I have been exposed to a lot of fabric houses and designers but ‘A Rum Fellow’ was not a company I was so familiar with. I had come across them online and was amazed to see a video on their website showing just how their fabrics are produced. The two fabrics Ocosito Falseria and Poxte Falseria that I have used to make my cushions are both made on a Draw loom, each of the 29 shafts are lifted by hand to create these beautiful fabrics. Having trained as a weaver myself I can really understand just how much hard work and dedication goes into creating these detailed and intricate materials. I really think it is wonderful to own something that tells a story and is completely handmade!
